Claim System Selection and Implementation

One of the nation’s largest Managed Behavioral Health Organizations (MBHOs) engaged APG to lead the sourcing and selection efforts for a new claims payment system.  APG supported our client with:

  • Documentation of detailed business requirement and technical specifications for the new system
  • Facilitated the vendor market analysis, RFP development, system selection and final contracting efforts
  • Coordination of the implementation planning and execution efforts
  • Provided subject matter resources during the project planning phase for the provider network, operations & call center and compliance/risk management teams

APG provided industry best practice insights and tools for the development of cross departmental and interdisciplinary workflows to ensure alignment with the claim vendors’ standard implementation methodology and also actively supported end user acceptance testing and final go-live readiness approvals.
